Here we are--at the brink of war. On July 2nd, Thomas Jefferson wrote our needs and feelings into a large document. The 2nd Continental Congress has met and voted to separate from Mother England. Now, on this day, July 4, 1776, the colonies and soon the world will know about our cries from independence. Colonists, loyalists or patriots, let all the others know your thoughts about such a huge and dangerous decision!
It's such a dangerous thing because so many men died when they blew off the canon.It was to loud and also made them deaf:(
